The Look

Can you see the look on both Cayenne just before Christamas and on me at six or seven years old. Yung, my Mom and I all independently thought of this picture of me when we saw the pictue of Cayenne. Fun!

Here is our miniture snowman!

We finally took Cayenne to the snow! She wants to go back again! It was snowing right on us. There was not too much snow to play with but it was enough for Cayenne and the trees looked beutiful!

Mamma is addicted to ruffles. Now she made a crazy dress!

First Bread Baking

Cayenne made bread for the first time today! She and I made Sun Bread inspired by one of our favorite picture books given to Cayenne from Shari and Tom. In fact we used the recipe in the back of the book. Cayenne spilled spoonfuls of milk and yeast into a bowl and watched it foam. She spilled flour into a bowl and mixed melted butter in and she helped to kneed to dough. Then she started to paint Mama's arm with the dough and was done. She observed the rest and was very happy to eat the puffy hot delicous bread! She ate it with cream cheese and said it was yummy and ok! I used to make bread with my Mama when I was a little girl too!

I made Cayenne these two skirts this week! Yung thinks they are a bit too wild but I am so happy to have been able to sew clothes for my daughter. I also wanted you all to see this picture of Cayenne playing "where's Cayenne? Here I am!"
