First Bread Baking

Cayenne made bread for the first time today! She and I made Sun Bread inspired by one of our favorite picture books given to Cayenne from Shari and Tom. In fact we used the recipe in the back of the book. Cayenne spilled spoonfuls of milk and yeast into a bowl and watched it foam. She spilled flour into a bowl and mixed melted butter in and she helped to kneed to dough. Then she started to paint Mama's arm with the dough and was done. She observed the rest and was very happy to eat the puffy hot delicous bread! She ate it with cream cheese and said it was yummy and ok! I used to make bread with my Mama when I was a little girl too!
